I  love these cake stand and was motivated to look for them following a post on another site from someone who was wanting a particular brand.

Of course I strayed off the path and came upon this site: Cherry On Top Cake Design

Having found it, I promptly spent some happy time admiring the handiwork of this talented lady.

The site is very easy, & quick delays – very important when you need a decorated cake fix.

I will try to organise some photos so I can share the goodness.

I do have more blogs on my old site. I promise I will check them and relay some info from them to  you soon.

Then, next I see beautiful bikkies. Fine, delicate work “decorated Christmas cookies”. This type of decoration is why I fell in love with this blog.

Bread & Butter Pudding

This pudding gets eaten soooo fast because it’s yummy and easy to eat. Good comfort food!

Made with fresh eggs from my backyard chooks.

You beat the eggs then make the custard with milk and flavourings

Then you add the bread squares to the cooking dish. (It’s best to use slightly stale bread.)

Then you add the custard mix

and the pudding is ready for cooking.

It needs a slow oven. If you put the pudding in a deeper dish allow more time for the

custard to cook. Sit your cooking dish in a bigger pan and add water half way up the side of the pan.

Keep an eye on the water level and top it up if necessary. You know when it’s cooked (a) when you can really smell it, and (b) when you can put a knife in it and it comes out clean.

And it’s very easy and simple to make! I like to add a little jam on my bread pieces but for this request was for plain buttered bread. This recipe is more of a custard. Sometimes I see BnB puds which are really bready. Making this recipe with small squares of bread (about 2 slices) is the way to go in this household.
